There has been relationships known between earthquakes and other natural processes for a while.

I swear there was a relationship where after west coast earthquakes and the temperature of the Banff/Jasper hot springs.

Nothing scientific, but I felt that after big California quakes, I though they got hotter for a while. Makes sense that they could open up a volcanic action.
