Why does Ford always sound like he's narrating a 1950s Health class documentary?

It's a horrible solution to the problem. Make more roads, there will be more cars. The gas tax cars generate obviously don't cover the cost of maintaining the road. EVs won't improve that. The cheaper option is trains.

My guess is that he has no idea what he is doing and never has. He was a talk show host with his coked up brother on the AM talk radio circuit stirring up red meat to his base all day. That's his skill set. When he is doing anything else besides grifting it's a cosplay.

It is not that he is a weak or uneducated. He is the dog that caught the bus and has no idea what to do now.
