If you ask a con they will say that:

1) all politicians lie
2) corporate interest have a fiduciary responsibility to their stockholders

Ergo, why regulate when the 'market' will do it for us? You don't like the prices shop elsewhere and regulations are unenforceable and too expensive anyway.

An elegant and well engineered system is one where you don't even know it's there because it take care of issues before they surface. You can't make political hay out of that if your entire platform is based upon grievance politics. That is the entire con platform, all grift no solutions and root out anything that calls out anything counter to that narrative. Their solution to this will be to defund the CBC for even reporting this not addressing the root causes.

And this is why we need CBC. Every other network depends on advertising revenue from Grovers.

And this is nothing new. We didn't account for packaging 30 years ago when I worked in grocery.
