I understand completely. Biden already lost one son. Republicans have been gunning for the other, and when the new administration - consisting of rapists, thieves, insurrectionists and facists - takes over, his son will rot in a jail cell for years over relatively minor crimes.
Makes sense to pardon him. Trump will end up pardoning himself anyhow.

They can take comfort in that the had no choice. If Kash Patel will head the FBI, then Democrats will al be first against the wall. Patel had said as much.
