Today the leader of BC United (formerly BC Liberals) announced they would be withdrawing all candidates so John Ristad's breakaway Conservatives could beat the NDP in the upcoming election.
The limp wristed pansy surrender monkey has stepped aside for the usurper, mimicking the GOP and abandoning all principles in order to "win" even at his own expense.
Radio phone lines were already manned with apologists claiming that if you were 'not with' Mr Rustad you were by definition "far left". BC Liberals were left, my ass!

Completely caved to the loud mouthed populists pushing their extreme right social agenda as conservatism, without testing reality with the electorate. Pussies. Leave the people of BC with only the choice between slightly left and extreme right,

FFS I was almost considering not voting NDP but now I have to.

As a resident of Rustad's riding for over 35 years, I know the guy betrayed everyone that is indisputable. I aclutally helped the BC LIberal campaign here for two elections before he was the candidate. Then the Libs were so entrenched, corrupt and eager to bury us all in user fees like old VanderZalm it was time to work for the NDP again.
The guy hasn't a single original thought just stolen chants and appeals to the gullible and unintelligent (of which this riding is over-blessed with) to flog.
I mean how the fuck can anyone living in a place utterly devastated by the bug kill and forest fires possible deny climate change? When I moved here I could watch the logs in our house crack and the patio creak and crack from the winter cold and now not see that kind of chill for more than one day or two in the last 10 years?
When I met my wife we had a apartment bldg New Years party cuz it snowed 3 feet and you couldn't go anywhere and woke up New Years Day in a panic cuz I thought a pipe burst. It was melted snow water running off the roof because it was +10 by 10am New Years Day.
Only 5 years before a cop pulled me over coming home and I wouldn't shut the truck off or it would never start again, so he followed me home and wrote a warning ticket in my driveway at -42 degrees.
Couple years back it rained like mad for two summers, I used to tease my sister that 'we changed climates with Vancouver!'
