Now we can demand strict enforcement of drug possession counts so we can
- make more criminals and prove the country's going to hell
- start whining endlessly that the courts are all tied up with petty drug cases
- whine even more about bail laws because they are petty charges
- judge more people as dangerous criminals rather than with health problems

TLDR there was not hard markers laid down to begin with so fuzzy math means they dumped the whole program rather than do a review and gain institutional knowledge and procedures. This was supposed to be limited to the city of Vancouver and was never intended to be province wide.
More people will die needlessly.

Swing and miss after 4 years, go back to what didn't
work for over 100 years is what most people think.
So they can bitch how the Courts are all tied up with petty drug possession charges.
And whine about the amount spent building mandatory treatment centres

They insist on blaming the victims and fixing the symptoms, just like with gun control.
The drugs are getting here someone, and the pushers make their own market once they are here. Stop the flow of drugs, and all the problems go away.

Just issue a ticket for possession like they do for jaywalking.
Thry can't pay it so it will pile up interest but the bean counters can make it look good on the books.
