True, and for years I have stopped even paying attention to him. Even so he has one of the most influential podcasts with a following of millions so it is important to know how bad the brain rot is.

Yea, it is shocking. But we already knew that right wingers won't read an article past the first sentence.
“We have failed to shift the narrative and we are still caught up in the same legal, economic and political systems,” said David Suzuki in an exclusive interview with iPolitics. “For me, what we’ve got to do now is hunker down.”
There is still time, just no will to face up to the political headwinds. Pragmatically it is the best call and morally it is a blow but it has been my take now for the last 5 years. Things could still change but we should not hold our breath forever.
