Disagree. He is playing the hand he has been dealt. He is not in a hurry to make waves until he is in a position of strength and he needs to fortify and pick his fights till then. You can see the deals he is making with non-US states are getting serious traction and I expect this is only going to snowball. It the same way we still need to use oil and gas to aid in the transition to renewables we also still need the US/Israel juggernaut to at least not outright attack us until a replacement to NATO and the G7 form. We need to keep our cards close to the chest till then and short term deals to keep the wolves at bay are going to be done and sacrifices will be needed till such point as we don't need to rely on an unstable regime in decline.
