Israeli company Zenziper refused to accept around 25,000 tons of grain from the Russian vessel PANORMITIS

The reason was a statement by Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry that the cargo could be linked to stolen Ukrainian grain from occupied territories.

According to The Marker, after the scandal the shipment was rejected, and the vessel is now leaving Haifa in search of a new buyer.

With Ukraine now clearly intending to and having the capability to destroy all Russian oil infrastructure within 2,200km of the Ukrainian border, here is what it means for Russia:

​Refining wiped out: 85% of Russia's processing capacity (5.8 million barrels/day) is in the strike zone. Losing these plants means Russia cannot make its own gasoline or diesel, forcing them to import fuel just to keep their military and economy moving.

​$230 Billion revenue at risk: Russia’s entire annual oil export income is now under threat. Even the limited strikes to date have already caused over $12 billion in direct damages and lost profits.

​Export collapse: The main western ports are all within range. This halts 4 million barrels of daily exports, physically cutting off the Kremlin's primary source of international cash.

​Drilling freeze: Beyond the 2 million barrels/day of drilling directly in range, the central pumping stations for "safe" Siberian oil are also vulnerable. If these hubs are hit, Siberian oil becomes trapped in the ground with nowhere to go.

​Permanent destruction: If production is forced to stop during the winter, the oil wells and pipes will freeze and crack. This could permanently destroy 30% of Russia’s total oil supply, as these complex systems cannot be rebuilt without Western parts.

The model of "Russian Federation" with Moscow at the center, would no longer exist.

Good.

Western partners apparently rang Kyiv and politely asked Ukraine to lay off Russian oil infrastructure because of “the Middle East crisis.” Zelenskyy’s response? “Of course, I said no.”

Which is frankly the only sane answer to that request. You’re fighting for your country’s survival, your enemy funds the entire war machine through oil exports, and your allies ring up to say: could you perhaps be a bit less effective?

That’s like telling someone being mugged to stop hitting back because it might upset the neighbours.

April was Ukraine’s busiest month for energy strikes in four months. At least 21 hits on refineries, terminals and pipelines. And on Tuesday, a drone found an oil pumping station 1,500 kilometres inside Russia, somewhere near the Urals.

The Urals. That’s not a border skirmish. That’s a message written in jet fuel and delivered to Moscow’s back garden.
Zelenskyy says the range will keep extending.

His allies, presumably, will keep calling. He will keep saying no. And the oil will keep burning.

Seems about right to me.

Deep-Strike Capabilities: Ukraine successfully struck a critical oil pumping station and refinery in Perm, approximately 1,500 km from the border, for the second consecutive day (0:05-1:56). This infrastructure is vital to Russia's domestic and export operations.
Impact on Tuapse: The video examines the ongoing fallout in Tuapse, where residents are reporting "oil rain" and toxic conditions, leading to growing domestic dissatisfaction (2:17-8:50).
Military Losses: Ukraine continues to target high-value Russian assets, including an MI-28 gunship and an MI-17 transport helicopter (9:17-10:24), as well as various radar systems and military infrastructure (12:16-13:35).
Russian Economic Decline: Russia has recorded its first quarterly economic contraction in three years (13:35-14:50). The video cites a significant labor shortage of 2.5 million men, attributed to war casualties and mass emigration (15:17-15:40).
Diplomatic and Political Context: The video discusses the US response, mentioning the resignation of a US ambassador to Ukraine (25:49-26:37) and the continued support from allies like Japan, Scotland, and the UK (27:07-28:27). King Charles is noted for his recent address to the US Congress regarding the importance of defending Ukraine (28:27-30:32).
Geopolitical Situation: There is a segment discussing Donald Trump's approach to foreign policy, the US blockade on Iran, and the resulting global oil price fluctuations (17:15-22:22).

Something like this hasn’t happened before: Ukraine’s Security Service confirmed a strike on the Shagol airbase in Chelyabinsk.

That’s about 1,700 km from the Ukrainian border — deep inside Russian territory.

According to the SBU, four aircraft were destroyed, including Su-57 and Su-34 jets.

The General Staff, citing satellite imagery, confirms hits on at least three targets and reports destroyed ground support equipment between the aircraft.

Based on the results from April, our long-range sanctions have reached a new level across three components: reducing Russia’s oil revenues, as well as the range and intensity of sanctions. It is important that not only is the target itself reached, as defined by the operational objective, but that the downtime of the target is increased or, at the very least, its operations are significantly reduced.

According to the most conservative estimates, since the beginning of the year, the aggressor state has lost at least $7 billion solely as a direct result of our precise sanctions against Russia’s oil industry and refining sector – due to direct hits, downtime, and delays in shipments.

I am grateful to all our warriors of the Defense Forces of Ukraine who, together with the Security Service of Ukraine and our intelligence agencies, are delivering these results. We will scale up our long-range systems capabilities. Decisions are being prepared.

The Choice of SAMP/T NG: Denmark selected this system—a European-made, ground-based medium to long-range defense system—partly due to the severe delivery backlogs affecting Patriot procurement (0:43-0:48, 4:20-4:33).
The Ukraine Connection: The SAMP/T system is already being utilized in Ukraine. The video highlights that Ukraine is essentially testing these systems in real-world combat conditions, providing invaluable performance data that will inform Denmark’s own deployment before their first delivery in 2028 (1:01-1:16, 6:16-6:24).
Capabilities: The SAMP/T NG features the Ground Fire 300 radar, providing 360-degree coverage, and utilizes Aster 30 Block 1 NT interceptors, which are designed to counter aircraft, cruise missiles, and ballistic threats using high terminal agility (2:33-3:43).
Strategic Context: By skipping Patriot, Denmark is pivoting to a system that is actively being refined through the "hardest possible instructor"—the war in Ukraine. This includes MBDA doubling Aster missile production to meet the surging demand observed during the conflict (8:57-9:05).
While Patriot remains the "veteran" with a long combat record, the video argues that the SAMP/T NG is rapidly proving itself as a capable, European-produced alternative essential for national defense in an era where air defense capacity is a critical priority
